I was overjoyed to recently return to Luna Stage in New Jersey, this time to perform in a staged reading of Sherry MacDonald’s play “The Stone Face” directed by Nancy Robillard. I got to play a young Buster Keaton! The play chronicles the true story of the tumultuous relationship between Buster Keaton and Samuel Beckett.

2016 Recap

It’s That Time Again, Internet!

Another year has come and gone. This year my theatrical adventures took me to California twice: I played Duke Orsino in Marin Shakespeare Company’s production of “Twelfth Night” and played Liam in Left Edge Theatre’s production of Joshua Harmon’s brilliant play “Bad Jews”.

Our production of “Thrill Me” from 2015 was nominated for 7 BroadwayWorld New Jersey Awards, including Best Actor in a Musical for yours truly. The show was additionally named one of the Top Shows of the Year by both the Star Ledger and New Jersey Footlights.

I had the good fortune to participate in readings for several new musicals, and was invited back to Luna Stage to act in their Short Play Festival.

I also continued to lead workshops for Broadway.com’s Broadway Classroom, and taught Shakespeare to young people through Marin Shakespeare’s Education Department.

All in all it has been a challenging, dynamic, and adventurous year. I am forever grateful to be making my living in the arts, and my heartfelt appreciation goes out to LaMama, Luna Stage, Marin Shakespeare Company, Broadway.com, Left Edge Theatre, and the Barrow Street Theatre for being my artist homes in 2016. May we all find fulfillment and enrichment in 2017.

Happy New Year!

December News

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Internet!

I recently completed a run of the play “Bad Jews” at Left Edge Theatre in California. It was my great privilege to play Liam with an absolutely stellar ensemble of actors: Emily Kron, Brady Morales-Woolery, and Katee Drysdale. The audience response to our production was humbling; we ended up selling out every performance of our run. My heartfelt thanks to the entire Left Edge family. What a joyous way to finish off 2016!
